Neil Morris

For 40 years Neil has dealt with UK and international estate succession trust and tax planning issues. He advises trust companies, high net worth clients including many entrepreneurs and high profile media clients on international tax planning and has particular experience in complex cross border estates and tax planning advising across multiple jurisdictions. He has developed a specialist practice dealing with HMRC enquiries and voluntary disclosures where clients find themselves in direct contract with HMRC.

Neil is a member of STEP and has authored the chapter on Manx Succession Law in David Hayton’s book European Succession Laws. He is well known on the international lecture circuit having lectured to STEP in Miami, Zurich, Liechtenstein, the BVI and the Cayman Islands.

Neil is recognised in the ‘Leading Lawyers’ section in Citywealth magazine’s guide to the most highly regarded figures in private wealth management. The guide comments that Neil ‘is extremely knowledgeable and pragmatic’. According to Legal 500, Neil ‘offers clear advice on complex trust issues’.
