As of 1st January 2021, the UK will enter a new relationship with the EU. Is your business prepared?
UK companies and LLPs with an EEA corporate director or secretary will need to provide additional information to Companies House. The EEA comprises the EU plus Iceland Lichtenstein and Norway. This will not affect a company or LLP which has a UK registered limited company as a corporate officer.
Should you need to update Companies House with this additional information you will be required to provide the following:
- The legal form of the corporate officer; and
- The law by which it is governed.
You will have 3 months from 31st December 2020 to update Companies House.
