Michael is an experienced Company Secretary and corporate governance professional with over 13 years’ experience operating within the company secretarial, corporate governance and wider secretariat space. Throughout his career, Michael has advised on and delivered a broad range of governance services, supporting boards, senior management and key stakeholders across complex corporate structures.

Originally studying Psychology and Criminology at the University of Bedfordshire, Michael developed a strong interest in regulatory frameworks, risk and governance, which led to a successful pivot into the company secretarial profession.

In addition to traditional company secretarial responsibilities, Michael brings strong expertise in customer due diligence and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, ensuring robust compliance with regulatory and best-practice standards. Their experience extends beyond core statutory obligations to encompass a wider, value-adding secretariat function, working closely with legal, compliance and operational teams to provide pragmatic, commercial and well-governed solutions.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending quality time with family, ideally accompanied by fine food and plenty of laughter. A keen football fan and regular gym-goer.
