Recognition

We have been recommended in Legal 500 for our work within Mining & Minerals. Past client testimonials from Legal 500 are featured below:

“They have strong industry knowledge and experience with the impression of having acted within the industry, not advising from outside.”

“The team has a wealth of experience dealing with difficult third parties on complicated deals. They have the capacity to find legal solutions to apparently complex problems. Also generally well-connected and has the capacity to help put interested parties together. Good all-round strengths relating to compilation of documentation, problem solving and negotiation.”

Exceptional technical knowledge of the natural resources sector sets us apart.

How we support clients

Our dedicated natural resources team helps clients with equity capital raisings for early stage exploration companies and IPOs on capital markets, through to the issue of listed debt to fund the acquisition of operating assets, to substantial takeovers. Our sector team also includes natural resources specialists, tax lawyers and lawyers specialising in disputes in the industry.

We advise on transactions involving the London Stock Exchange’s Premium and Standard segments, AIM and AQSE on admissions, IPOs, reverse takeovers, fundraisings and bond and loan note issuances and listings. We act for companies, management, Nominated Advisers and Brokers.

Our mining, oil and gas and exploration clients call us before they make their next move and trust and rely on the advice we give. Our team includes partners who are non-executive directors themselves and so not only have excellent technical knowledge from years of experience, but also know first-hand what it’s like to go through the process.

Our international experience

We have extensive international experience across Africa, Australia, South East Asia, South America and North America, helping clients access the deep pools of capital available in the London markets. Dual-listed clients generally trade on Nasdaq, JSE, TSX, ASX and EURONEXT.
