Druces’ Capital Markets team has advised Caerus Mineral Resources plc, in connection with a placing and subscription of an aggregate 22,500,000 new ordinary shares at 10p each raising gross proceeds of £2,250,000, and its admission to the Official List (by way of a Standard Listing) and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc’s Main Market for listed securities.
Caerus was established to focus primarily on developing Mineral Resources in Europe in response to the transition and drive towards Clean Energy economies globally. The current focus of Caerus is on copper-gold opportunities in Cyprus, a region with a long mining history and significant untapped value. Caerus has acquired title over 12 exploration permits that cover 31.42km2 in the former prolific mining districts of Kalavasos, Kambia, Vrechia and Black Pine. All of the project areas within the NCC Portfolio are considered to be prospective for copper and/or gold (and nickel-cobalt in the case of Black Pine).
Druces’ Capital Markets team included Dominic Traynor (Partner), Jack Kemmish (Senior Associate), Mark Lamph (Solicitor) and Clarice Hui (Trainee Solicitor).
Dominic Traynor commented: “We are pleased to have assisted Caerus in securing the funding to finance their exploration projects in Cyprus. This is an area of great potential and our team is happy to be a part of the focus towards developing Mineral Resources in Europe.”
Professor Michael Johnson, Chairman of Caerus, commented: “Druces have been thorough and professional throughout this Listing and they have provided guidance and support at every stage in the process.”
