Following a strategic review, the partners of Druces have elected to appoint a CEO to manage the firm; the first such role in nearly a decade.
In recent years the firm has been managed by an Executive Committee, and the partners are delighted that Edward Gordon-Hall – who previously served as Druces’ Finance Director and sat on that Executive Committee until October 2020 – is today returning to the firm as CEO.
Edward has over 30 years’ experience advising and working with professional services firms, particularly in the legal sector, including firms such as Lewis Silkin and Olswang. He returns to Druces at a particularly exciting time in its growth and development.
Commenting on Edward’s appointment, Karen Chapman and Christopher Axford, who form the current Executive Committee at Druces, said:
“It is a great pleasure to welcome Edward back to Druces as Chief Executive Officer. This appointment comes at an ideal moment in the firm’s development and Edward – who already knows our business so well – is ideally placed to lead us in this next phase of our strategy.”
Edward Gordon-Hall observed:
“I am excited about re-joining Druces as CEO. This is a firm that cherishes its heritage but also, equally important, is firmly focused on the future. I look forward to working with everyone at Druces as we map the next phase of the firm’s development: continuing to deliver real value to our clients whilst maintaining the core values that make the firm a great place to work”.
