City of London law firm, Druces LLP, is delighted to announce the arrival of Julian Washington, an experienced business development specialist with a formidable background in the legal sector, as its new Head of Business Development.

Julian spent almost twenty years as a lawyer in private practice with major London firms before moving into a second career in business development in the financial services industry. At Royal Bank of Canada he rose to become Head of Business Development in London and later led the bank’s thought leadership offering in the UK, acting as an ambassador for RBC in the private wealth market.

Commenting on Julian’s arrival, Roy Campbell, Senior Partner at Druces, said: “Julian’s appointment is an important move for Druces and is set in the context of our plans for growth.
