Throughout his distinguished career, Jeff Roberts has advised clients on a wide range of insolvency and restructuring matters. He has defended clients facing claims from insolvency practitioners, advised buyers of insolvent businesses to mitigate legal risks, and supported boards of directors during complex corporate turnarounds. He has also managed disputes arising from mergers, acquisitions, and sales, particularly regarding breaches of warranty claims.
With a deep understanding of financial distress, shareholder disputes, and board conflicts, Jeff is adept at formulating cost-effective legal strategies tailored to each client’s unique challenges.
As an experienced litigator, Jeff’s approach to dispute resolution is both strategic and solutions focused. His background enables him to address a broad spectrum of legal challenges, combining his expertise in contentious and non-contentious insolvency with a wealth of experience in restructuring and corporate dispute resolution.
Jeff also brings significant experience in Private Equity matters, where he has built a strong, long-term client base. His advisory work in this sector spans complex corporate structures, shareholder negotiations, and investment disputes.
A Fellow of R3 (Association of Business Recovery Professionals), Jeff is widely recognised for his contributions to the field of business recovery and restructuring. His insights and thought leadership have made him a sought-after advisor for clients facing the complexities of insolvency law.
