We are delighted to announce the arrival of David Jahoda, a specialist in equity
capital markets (ECM) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions, to our Corporate Department.
This development of the firm’s offering aims to ensure that Druces continues to be a significant presence
in the market.
David joins the firm with a wealth of experience advising banks, issuers, and shareholders on a wide
range of ECM transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, secondary capital raisings, private
placements, accelerated bookbuild transactions, other securities transactions (including global
depositary receipts), demergers, share buybacks, and convertible bonds. Additionally, he advises on
public and private M&A transactions, debt capital markets (DCM) transactions, as well as listed clients
on their legal and regulatory obligations, corporate governance, and other corporate matters.
David trained and gained post-qualification experience at a magic circle firm in London for more than
eight years and has also worked at international law firms in London. He has held senior legal roles at
HSBC and Credit Suisse, where he gained significant commercial experience advising on complex
ECM, equity-linked, and M&A transactions.
David has worked across various sectors, including financial institutions, technology, media and
telecom, natural resources, mining and energy, and consumer sectors, including hotels and hospitality.
