Druces is pleased to welcome Connor Martin to its growing Real Estate team. Connor joins Druces as a Solicitor, having qualified in 2023 and already developed a strong foundation in both residential and commercial property matters. His arrival is part of the firm’s continuing commitment to expanding its expertise in Commercial Property and delivering excellent service across the board.
Connor began his legal career at Martin Tolhurst Solicitors, a firm in Kent, where he qualified in September 2023. During his training contract, he gained extensive experience in both residential and commercial property transactions. Managing his own caseload within the residential property team early in his career gave him confidence in handling client matters and liaising with agents. This foundation enabled a smooth and successful transition into commercial property work, where Connor found his passion.
Since qualifying, Connor has focused exclusively on commercial property law, building his own caseload from the ground up. His work to date includes acting on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, refinancing, commercial leases and licences, land transactions, auction matters, and more specialist areas such as deeds of easement and adverse possession claims. His clients have ranged from property investors and landlords with established portfolios, to tenants, pension schemes, and corporate borrowers.
Connor’s professional style is proactive and client focused. He is known for progressing matters efficiently and maintaining excellent communication with clients and agents alike. This approach has already earned him repeat work and positive feedback from those he has acted for.
His decision to join Druces was driven by the firm’s reputation in Real Estate law, with strong rankings in The Legal 500 and a proven track record in handling high-quality property work. Having spent over four years working regionally, Connor felt ready to transition to a well-regarded City law firm where he could continue to build on his existing knowledge and collaborate with experienced colleagues.
Connor Martin comments on his appointment:
“I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to be a part of Druces established Real Estate team and learn from the experienced lawyers within the team. I am looking forward to growing on top of my current experience and helping the team continue their outstanding work in Real Estate.”
At Druces, we are proud to continue investing in ambitious legal professionals who align with our values and enhance our offering to clients. Connor’s appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to growing the firm’s commercial property practice and ensuring the highest levels of legal support to those we advise.
