Druces are pleased to announce that we have advised The Pickstock Group, an international group specialising in modern methods of construction (MMC), real estate, house building and telecommunications, on the sale of the entire issued share capital of one of its subsidiaries, Concierge 12 Ltd, to Veld Capital (in partnership with Avignon Capital). Concierge 12 Ltd’s assets included a substantial property, Saltwater Place, a high-quality student accommodation asset in Plymouth.

Saltwater Place is a modern 348-bed property and has been a standout development in Plymouth’s student housing market, offering premium living spaces tailored to meet the needs of today’s students. Strategically located near the University of Plymouth, the property features a range of amenities, including communal study areas, social spaces, and on-site management services.

The Druces team included on the corporate side, partners Christopher Axford and Claire Rigby, senior counsel David Jahoda and solicitor Cheryl Michalik; on the construction side, partner Richard Bailey and solicitor Zoë Deckker; on the real estate side, partner Adrian Footer and associate Lisa Cardy; and on the tax side, partner Paul White.

Commenting on the transaction, Fraser Tart (Group Solicitor of The Pickstock Group) observed:

“It is a delight to work with Druces on any of our deals. They are always proactive and find tailored solutions to any issues to best achieve the desired results for all parties.”

Druces’ partner and the Head of Corporate Christopher Axford commented:

“We are delighted to have advised The Pickstock Group on the successful sale of Concierge 12 Ltd to Veld Capital. This marks a key transaction for one of our longstanding clients who we have worked with for many years and with whom we look forward to working with again.”
